The use of the web quest provides students with a basic introduction to the Social Studies content that will be covered in the unit. It ensures that students have a common starting point for discussion, inquiry, and the analysis that will be a keep focus in days to come. In the activity, the laptop cart will be brought to the classroom and each student will be asked to complete the web quest individually. The students will use links from the classroom Weebly to answer questions in a packet. Some of the questions that will be used are stated above. Students will be assessed on this project through the use of teacher observation. Please refer to the standards listed under the Goals and Standards tab. The Social Studies Standards listed are correlated to this activity.
